In the distance, the sound of splashing water reached him—another set of sacrifices had been brought over. However, Long Chen remained perfectly still, his posture unchanging. As the second batch of sacrifices reached the altar, the pressure on him eased slightly.
The altar continued to blast those bodies apart and absorb their energy. Long Chen felt the altar’s focus shift away from him and onto the new sacrifices.

With the violet crystal heavenly eye, Long Chen could practically see through this monster. He could observe its meridians pulsing and its Blood Qi flowing. The energy absorbed by the four skulls was slowly directed towards the central area of the turtle’s back, where the stone fetus resided.
