This mountain was now nothing more than a tiny island floating above the abyss. Larger landmasses hovered in the distance, but they were far beyond his reach. Long Xu could no longer fly. His only hope was for Long Chen to pull him back from the brink.
Hence, Long Xu was delighted to see Long Chen flying over him.
He shouted in relief. “Master!”
However, the white-robed Long Chen paid him no attention and was charging forward. In front of him, a bronze cauldron was fleeing for its life.
Long Chen raised Evilmoon, and an immense saber-image struck the Heaven Earth Cauldron once more. A brilliant wave of divine light erupted upon impact, sending the cauldron tumbling through the sky.
The shockwave struck Long Xu’s mountain, launching it across the collapsing landscape. Long Xu screamed as the mountain disintegrated beneath him.
He believed he was dead.
Yet, by sheer coincidence, the hurtling mountain collided with a larger landmass, flinging him onto solid ground.
“Heaven Earth Cauldron, if you care the slightest about your face, you’ll stop running!”
Long Chen shouted as he pursued, but his breathing was growing ragged. These apocalyptic blows were consuming enormous amounts of energy.
“You damn brat! You’re all scheming against me! Just you wait!” roared the Heaven Earth Cauldron.
Even as it cursed back at Long Chen, it didn’t stop running away. Although Long Chen was exhausting himself, it had also used up much of its core energy devouring the Earth Cauldron. If it used up too much, it would descend into a slumber, and then it really would be doomed.
Currently, both Long Chen and the Heaven Earth Cauldron were holding back their final reserves. One more blow would exhaust Long Chen, but the same was true for the Heaven Earth Cauldron. It did not want to descend into a slumber again. Thus, it fled for its life.
Just then, countless specks of light appeared throughout this crumbling world. Those lights were spatial passageways.
“We’re saved!”

The tablet on Long Chen’s hand also lit up.

Suddenly, the Heaven Earth Cauldron dove into one of those passageways. Long Chen chased after it, but just as he was about to enter, the space in front of him twisted. Heaven Earth power erupted.
Long Chen was blasted back into a different passageway. He immediately vanished without a trace.
Just then, the entire heaven region’s battlefield crumbled and turned to dust. It became part of the dust of the cosmos. The wild spatial currents in the abyss carried its remains away to places unknown to anyone in this world.
